The Undergraduate Program in Meteorology has received an A accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education. In 2019, the Undergraduate Program in Meteorology is in the process of applying for credit to ASIIN (Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik), an accrediting agency with specializations in engineering, computational science, natural science and interdisciplinary fields involving one or more than the previously mentioned subjects.
